National Trails Day
Saturday, June 6, 2015

On June 6th GVLT volunteers will join communities across the country in celebrating National Trails Day by helping to build and maintain Bozeman’s Main Street to the Mountains trail system.

For this year’s National Trails Day, volunteers will help resurface the Gallagator Trail, one of the most heavily used trails in town.  We’ll start with some breakfast snacks and a quick talk before our volunteers hit the trail at 9am. Volunteers will come back to our base camp at noon for a free lunch!

This year’s base camp will be located right next to our new office, just south of the library parking lot. Please park in the 212 S. Wallace lot or the Burke Park parking lot off of Church St.

No RSVP necessary. All tools will be provided. Wear gloves, sneakers or boots, sunscreen, and layers.

Longest Day of Trails
Saturday, June 20, 2015

In June we celebrate the longest days of the year with our  annual dawn-to-dusk (6am – 10pm) biking celebration and  membership drive.  The Gallatin Valley Bicycle Club will lead beginner and advanced bike rides throughout the Main Street to the Mountains trail system. This is a great way to learn about new trails or routes around town! Bikers of all abilities and ages are welcome! During the event, participants who donations to GVLT will receive prizes and gift certificates to great local businesses!
