Our volunteers play an important role in all of our accomplishments. Many volunteers help on an occasional basis, while others help on a more regular schedule. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the year, including helping with trail projects, events and office work. Examples of volunteer work include trail construction, building/removing fence, weed removal, assisting with filing and data entry, event planning, assisting at a GVLT information table, and general office administration work (just to list a few).
If you or your organization is interested in volunteering, please sign up for our Volunteer Email News.
We typically send no more than two emails per month and we will not share your email address. If you have further questions or would like to talk with GVLT about volunteer opportunities, please us at 406.587.8404, firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to working with you!
GVLT does not currently have any job openings.
Each spring GVLT hires a seasonal Trail Boss, who works with the trails program staff to coordinate a variety of trail maintenance, signage and trail building projects. The position also organizes and supervises volunteer crews, assists with coordination of events, community outreach, and fundraising efforts, and monitors trail conditions. The summer 2013 Trail Boss position is filled.
