Ali first came to Montana for a summer internship in Yellowstone in 2014 and never looked back—falling in love with the landscape and everything Montana has to offer. This appreciation for the natural world and the human connection to it led to a career in environmental sustainability. After graduating from the University of Vermont, Ali spent five years working for a hospitality management company, Delaware North, as an Environmental and Risk Manager within Yellowstone National Park. Now a Sustainability Specialist for the City of Bozeman, Ali focuses on local climate action and community resiliency. Outside of work, you can find Ali riding her bike, hiking, skiing, and enjoying all things outdoors while also finding calm through yoga and crafting at home.
