Protecting the Heart of Park County
Park County, Montana, is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. From historic ranches and wild rivers to the northern gateway of Yellowstone National Park, this landscape is a special place to call home.
The Good News
Since 1995, we’ve partnered with visionary landowners to permanently protect more than 22,000 acres of working lands and wildlife habitat in Park County. Our Northern Yellowstone Open Lands team is honored to serve and support the families who keep our open lands wild and working.
The Reality
Park County has lost nearly 40,000 acres of open space to development in just two decades. While development pressure continues to grow, so too does our resolve to protect the rural character that defines our home.
Working and Wild Lands 1:1 Match
Whether your connection to Park County’s landscapes comes through ranching and agriculture, recreation, love of wildlife, or simply calling this place home, we hope you’ll join us in helping to keep Park County’s open lands wild and working. And, thanks to a generous gift from glassybaby foundation, all donations to Northern Yellowstone Open Lands during Give a Hoot will be matched 1:1—DOUBLING YOUR IMPACT!
