“Montana’s open spaces, trails, and wild landscapes are what make this place so special, and I feel incredibly fortunate to call the Gallatin Valley home. Serving on the GVLT Board allows me to give back to the community and help protect the lands that define this region—not only for recreation and conservation but also to preserve the agricultural roots that have shaped the valley for generations. I’m proud to support GVLT’s mission to expand access to trails, safeguard open spaces, and ensure that future generations can experience the same Montana I’ve come to love.

A native of the Midwest, Jake has called the Bozeman area home for the past five years. He and his partner live just outside of town, embracing Montana’s rural lifestyle with their horses, chickens, garden, and bees. An avid outdoorsman, Jake enjoys Montana to the fullest—spending his time trail riding, hunting, camping, skiing, and snowmobiling throughout the year.

Professionally, Jake serves as the Head of Marketing Strategy, Operations, and Media at Delta Air Lines, where he leads a global organization focused on building world-class marketing channel, delivery, and analytics capabilities. Since joining Delta in 2014—first as a loyal customer and then as a marketing leader—he has held roles spanning domestic and international marketing, helping to transform and scale strategic marketing capabilities for a global network. His experience includes both agency and client-side roles across industries such as consumer electronics, education, and consumer packaged goods.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, Jake earned his B.A. in Management from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In addition to serving on the GVLT Board, he is an active board member for the MMA Marketing Association, the Marketing Leadership Institute at the University of Wisconsin, and the Marketing Board for the United Way of Greater Atlanta.
