John DiCola

BOARD MEMBER

“It is a privilege to live in a place that has so much space and beauty. GVLT is a great steward for preservation of that space and access to enjoy that beauty. It is an honor to join the board and contribute to the mission.”

John DiCola is a business leader and board member with 30 years of experience helping early-stage and growth companies scale. After nearly a decade in the advertising and sales industry, John joined a startup company in 2000 named Google. During his seven years at Google, John started the Chicago, Detroit, and Dallas offices: hiring the team and building relationships with the region's largest companies. Since his time at Google, John has used his experience in leadership and board positions at several technology companies. Today, he serves on the boards of technology businesses AeroPay and Savvi.AI. In addition to the Technology space, John served six years on the Big Sky Youth Empowerment (BYEP) board, and nine years as a board member for the Yellow Dog Community and Conservation Foundation. Prior to living in Bozeman, John held an elected board position with the Winnetka Park District. John and his wife Becky moved their family to Bozeman in 2015, where they've raised their four children. They are active trail users, and you may know their large Newfoundland "Chewbacca" if you spend time at Snowfill dog park. John believes GVLT plays a vital role in shaping the quality of life in the Gallatin Valley and is excited to support its mission through board service.
