Loy Maierhauser

NEXTGEN ADVISORY BOARD CO-CHAIR

"Both the Gallatin and Paradise Valley take my breath away more every time I venture out. The natural world that surrounds us is what makes living here so special. I'm honored to be a small part of helping preserve what we all love and care so deeply about as we pass down our breathtaking surroundings to generation after generation."

Loy moved to Bozeman in 2014 and knew it was home immediately. After growing up in the Black Hills of South Dakota and spending her teenage years and early twenties working at a zoo, Loy is passionate about wildlife and habitat conservation. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer at MAP Brewing Company, is a Certified Beer Judge and an Advanced Cicerone (it's like a sommelier for beer), and is lucky enough to spend a few weeks each year travelling the country to judge beer competitions. When Loy’s not working on something beer-related, you can probably find her trail running, crafting, cross-country skiing, or hiking on her property with her husband, Brandt.
