A Dream in Motion: Bikefill Community Bike Park

We are thrilled to announce GVLT's fundraising campaign to build Bozeman's newest place for adventure: Bikefill Community Bike Park.

In partnership with the City of Bozeman and private donors like you, GVLT aims to develop a world-class bike park on 66 acres of vacant property between Snowfill Recreation Area and the old city landfill.

With your support, this project will transform previously impacted land that is not otherwise usable into an extraordinary community bike park for all ages and abilities.

The natural topography of the land provides ideal terrain for 5+ miles of new trails and an exciting variety of features in a single park, including:

  • For beginner riders: Smooth trails, pump tracks, and skills areas perfect for learning the basics and building confidence

  • For intermediate riders: Miles of cross-country trails and professionally built cyclocross features

  • For advanced riders: More technical flow trails and dirt jumps

Many of these trails will be wide enough to accommodate adaptive mountain bikes, ensuring the park is accessible to all.

Another key part of the project will be City-funded improvements to McIlhattan Road, the primary access to Bikefill, and a new parking lot that will provide access to both Bikefill and Snowfill.

The finish line is in sight—but we can't cross it without YOU. We've already identified or secured an incredible 85% of the $4.5 million needed for this project through generous contributions from lead donors and the City of Bozeman. That means we have just $700,000 left to raise to make this long-held dream a tangible reality for our community.

Every single donation is critical right now. Without this final push from the community, Bikefill Community Bike Park will remain only a dream. This is your urgent call to action to help us close this final funding gap.

Donating today isn't just about building a bike park; it's about:

  • Creating a dedicated space for safe, accessible recreation just north of town.

  • Alleviating increasing pressure on our local trail system.

  • Investing in the future of our community and creating a legacy for generations to come!

Please, don't wait. Your immediate support is what will get us to the finish line and bring this extraordinary community asset to life.
